Bits and Pieces.
A house with personality and warmth tends to have personal touches that make the place less ‘display home’ and more about you. When you group together collectible pieces – which could be ornaments, sculptures, pretty little plates or perhaps an hourglass – you can curate interesting focal points without adding to clutter. Try arranging a little keepsake squad on an empty bookshelf corner, or on a bedside table that’s not used for your phone… Stuff loses it’s charm if it ends up cramping your style! Cute things can also be functional. A cactus-shaped doorstop, photographic coasters, a desk calendar in the form of a piglet or a hand-like jewellery stand all serve useful purposes, but in an attractive way.
